Diane Schlosser, Career Advisor
Mrs. Diane Schlosser is one of two Career Advisors in the Bismarck Public Schools. She will be assisting students at Century High School with their transition from high school to post secondary education, career exploration, and the decision making process. Diane will help students answer the following questions: Who am I? Where am I going? How do I get there? She will be a resource as students organize a plan for their future that is consistent with their values, interests, and abilities.
Students may see Diane in the classroom facilitating an interest inventory, teaching employability skills (interviewing, resume writing), presenting labor market information, showcasing a non-traditional career or offering tips on how to get a job. She will also be piloting a new program to provide job shadowing experiences for students - look for more information on that program later!
Both students and parents are welcome to meet with Diane for individual consultations. She will be at Century High School on most Wednesdays. Students can stop in the counseling office to sign up for a time to meet with her or she can be contacted by phone or email.
