Head Varsity Coach
Kevin Ziegler-Head Coach-5th Season
Kevin Ziegler returns for his fifth year as the head coach of Bismarck Softball. For the first 2 years he coached the Bismarck Sparks, a team made up of athletes from the Bismarck area. Since then, the Sparks have divided into the two schools in town and this is his second year as head coach of the Century High Patriots. Previously, he spent six years as an assistant baseball coach and eleven years as an assistant girls basketball coach with the Century High School Patriots. Before this, he has been at Columbus, Towner and Wahpeton, ND coaching track, football and basketball and teaching science. He has taught chemistry at Century High School for the past 12 years. Kevin and his wife, Cecilia have 1 child; Nathaniel, who is 15 years old.

Head JV Coach
Katie Lee-Head JV Coach-3rd Season
Coach Lee is in her third year of coaching JV softball at Century. Previous to coaching CHS softball Lee was Assistant Varsity coach at Skyview High School in Denver, Colorado from 2007-2010. Previous to coaching Lee was a member of the Salt Lake Community College softball team from 2001-2003 and a member of the University of Illinois-Springfield team from 2003-2005. Lee played the position of pitcher in college and had a beautiful knuckle ball. Coach Lee is a native of California and competed in fastpitch travel ball tournaments around the US. She has her Master's in Social Work. Coach Lee and her husband, Mike, who is a North Dakota native, were married in June 2011. Katie and her husband, Mike have 1 child;Kallie, who is 3 months old. She enjoys snowboarding, slow-pitch softball, traveling, hockey and cooking.

Assistant JV Coach
Kasandra Cariveau-Assistant JV Coach-1st Season
Coach Cariveau is in her first year of coaching at Century. Previous to coaching at CHS Cariveau played there her senior year and two years before as a Spark on the Bismarck co-op team. Cariveau was a catcher and the occasional second basemen. She was an all-region selection all three years on the high school team, all-state selection her senior year, and senior athlete of the year for Region 3. She also played hockey though out high school. Coach Cariveau went on to play one year of college softball at the University of Mary, and is currently working on a Bachelor's in PE and Health with coaching.
