There have been some changes to the games with Bismarck and Jamestown due to scheduling conflicts. The revised schedule for the 2010 high school girls soccer season is now available below. Mark your calendars and plan to attend the games to cheer on our CHS Patriots!

Parent/Player Meeting Scheduled

Reserve March 16, 2010 on your calendar for the CHS Girls Soccer Parent/Player Night.
This meeting is mandatory for any person interested in playing on a CHS soccer team this spring. The meeting will begin at 7 PM in the CHS auditorium.
The soccer season will begin Monday, March 29, 2010 with the time and location to be announced. As a reminder, all players will to have their physical form A or B and their activity fee turned into the CHS school office BEFORE the start of the season or the player will not be eligible for tryouts. These forms can be found on the CHS web site under "Athletics".

More Open Gym Dates Added!

Looking to get a few touches on the ball before the spring soccer season begins? Slip on your gym shoes and join the girls soccer players on the following days:
* Thur. March 18th - 8 pm-9:15 pm at Simle Middle School
* Mon. March 22nd - 8 pm-9:15 pm at Simle Middle School
* Tues. March 23 - 8 pm-9:15 pm at Simle Middle School
* Wed. March 24 - 8 pm-9:15 pm at Simle Middle School
* Sun. March 28th - 6 pm-7:30 pm at CHS Olson Gym
These sessions are optional and only open to players who are not already in a high school winter sport. At least one coach from the CHS Girls Soccer Coaching Staff or Parental Volunteer will be at each session to open up the gym 20 minutes prior to the start and stay on site in case of any emergencies.

Team Tryouts Scheduled for 2010 Season

Ready to get back on the soccer fields? The schedule for team tryouts is:
* Monday, March 29 - 6 to 9 PM at the golf dome.
* Tuesday, March 30 - 6 to 9 PM at the golf dome.
* Wednesday, March 31 - 6 to 9 PM at the golf dome
* Thursday, April 1 - time and place TBA
All players in grades 9-12 are welcome to try out for any of the five CHS teams. The Varsity and Varsity Reserve teams will play games against other teams in the WDA (traveling required) while the Red, White and Blue teams will play their games locally against Bismarck High, St. Mary's, Mandan and Shiloh.
Time frames for tryouts will be based upon your grade level. These times will be announced later and also posted at each of the middle schools. More details will also be available at the Parent/Player Night on March 16th.

With the start of the soccer season, there are plenty of announcements to be made by both the coaches and the booster club. We encourage you to get in the habit of checking the "Announcements" page of the soccer web site on a regular basis to see what is happening in the world of CHS girls soccer. The page is filled with fundraiser information, meeting news, banquet information and other important information from the coaches. This page will be updated frequently so check back often.
Game schedule or time changes will appear on the game schedule pages for each team. Be sure to check there on a regular basis as well!

Spirit Wear and Training Gear Can Be Ordered

Interested in ordering some CHS girls soccer "Spirit Wear"? Or soccer training gear? This year, orders for spirit wear and training gear will be coordinated by Universal Athletics. Your items may be ordered online or at their store in Pinehurst Shopping Center. Clothing will be available at the Parent/Player Night for you to see and try on. An order form and full details are included on the "Announcements" page of the girls soccer website.
