2015 Football Cheerleaders
Season Information

  • CHS Kids Cheer Camp is Saturday January 23rd from 9-11:15. A parent performance is at 11:15. They will be able to perform at a half time that evening at a boys basketball game at the civic center. Click on the registration form below and sign up today!

  • Congrats to the CHS cheerleaders on their many accomplishments at NCA cheer camp 2015.Their awards are 1st place trophy for the Top Team Game Performance, a Bid to Nationals, a Technical Excellence award for tumbling, and two Spirit Sticks, and 4 Superior Ribbons for cheer and chant evaluations . They also won two S.P.O.T award for safe stunting.
    Individual awards are as follows:
    All American Nominees: Laney Beiswenger, Kiley Neuman, Whitney Klimpel, Paige Voegele, Ashley Gessle, Alexa Gonzalez, KenaDee Babeck, Lauryn Hinkley, Liz Romanick, Shae Pfenning, Isabel Hanson, Grace Poolman and Tierney Eagleson.

  • Congratulations to the 6 CHS cheerleaders that attended the UCA Elite Cheer Camp in Bismarck. They were awarded a Spirit Stick, as well as 1st place in the Extreme Routine. Laney Beiswenger and Kiley Neuman were named to the All American Team after a tryout! Congrats on your hard work!

  • Congrats CHS cheerleaders on their 3rd place finish in team competition at Winter state cheer! Grace Poolman got 3rd in All Around, Laney Beiswenger got 1st in All Around, Stunt group name #rollpats got 1st- which included Kiley Neuman, Laney Beiswenger, Alyssa Baerlocher, KenaDee Babeck and Grace Poolman. Laney Beiswenger got 2nd in Jump off. Way to go!!

  • Congrats CHS cheerleaders on their 2nd place finish in the large varsity team competition at Fall state! Miranda Jensen and Emily Nelson got the senior award, the team got a Team Scholar award and Sarah Ashley tied for 5th place in the All Around Cheer Challenge.

    Tammy Duursma
    Tammy Duursma

    Tammy Duursma is originally from Bismarck, ND. She is going on her 8th year coaching at CHS, 12 years coaching overall. She has 9 years of cheer experience ranging from middle school thru college. She is a 3 time All-American Cheerleader and a two time jump off winner as well as a 4 time team winner in the ND State High School competitions. She was an assistant coach of the NDSU Cheer Team for 2 years, previously coached the cheerleading and dance team in Las Vegas, Nevada, was a camp instructor for the NCA/NDA organization for 4 years, was an assistant coach of the ND All-Star Team for two years and co-coach of the ND cheer team. She is currently on the NDCCA board where she is president and helped create the partner stunt and All Around Cheer Challenge divisions. She is AACCA Spirit Safety Certified. She has stayed actively involved in cheer via judging, choreographing cheer routines and has attended UCA/UDA College Nationals in Orlando, Florida. Tammy teaches Physical Eduation in the BPS system.

    Coach Steph
    Stephanie Robinson is originally from Underwood, ND and began cheerleading in junior high. She cheered through college at NDSU and was captain her senior year. This is her first year assistant coaching at CHS. Stephanie is currently in Human Resources at Bartlett & West Engineering.

    Meagan Behm
    Meagan Behm is from Minot, ND and began cheering for both football and basketball seasons her sophomore year of high school at Bishop Ryan. During that time, the cheer team she was a part of took first place on four different occasions and second on another at ND State Cheer competitions. The team also took second in the small team division at the UCA Spirit of America competition in Minneapolis. Her senior year she won Class B jump off at Winter Competition and is also a two time All American Cheerleader. In addition to her first year of assistant coaching at CHS, she is currently a freshman at University of Mary where she is studying elementary education and is a football cheerleader for the Marauders football team.
