Daily Schedule Requirements - Student Class Load

Sophomores and Juniors must carry a minimum of six (6) hours of classes each semester, of which only two (2) can be music.

Seniors are required to carry a minimum of five (5) hours of classes each semester, of which only two (2) can be music. Students cannot apply more than four (4) units of music credit toward the minimum graduation requirement.

Students enrolled in the cooperative work experience courses must carry six (6) hours (sophomores) or five (5) hours (juniors and seniors) of class work in addition to this course.

Mid-term graduates will not be allowed to leave BHS or CHS prior to the completion of first semester to enroll elsewhere. They are welcome to enroll in another institution but must make known to proper personnel that they will not start classes until the first semester ends at BHS or CHS.

To be classified as a sophomore, a student must have earned at least four (4) credits at the end of the freshman year.

To be classified as a junior, a student must have earned at least eight (8) credits at the end of the sophomore year.

To be classified as a senior, a student must have earned at least fourteen (14) credits at the end of the junior year.
